Tammy Jacobs - Creative Wealth Management

Tammy Mafara-Jacobs

Co-Founder, Financial Advisor

Tammy is the Co-Founder of Creative Wealth Management and her mission is to help guide her clients through all financial situations. As a financial advisor and co-founder of Creative Wealth Management, she is dedicated to understanding her clients’ wants and wishes in order to provide them with customized solutions that align with their financial goals.

Since 2001, Tammy has been helping clients build and preserve their wealth. She’s also been working with Jonathan Johansen – fellow co-founder of Creative Wealth Management – since 2002. Tammy’s wealth of experience is complemented by her esteemed certifications in the field of financial planning. She holds the highly regarded Certified Annuity Specialist® designation, which requires intensive self-study courses. She also earned a Certified Income Specialist™ certification and uses her expertise in wealth distribution and management to provide her clients with trusted, knowledgeable service. Tammy plans to pair her refined skillset with the robust resources available at Raymond James, which she joined in 2018, to continue benefiting her clients.

Tammy was inspired to join the field of financial planning by a sudden and unfortunate event. After working for a major corporation for almost two decades, Tammy’s employer filed for bankruptcy, causing thousands of people to lose their pensions and devastating entire families. Using this tumultuous time as a catalyst to join the financial industry, Tammy became dedicated to helping clients prepare for similar experiences and preserve their assets in case the unexpected happened.

A resident of Wilsonville, Oregon, Tammy has been an Oregonian since she was a young child, and is proud to have raised her own family in the state. She is married to Michael and has two daughters: Rachelle, who lives abroad with her husband and two sons, and Kaila, who lives in Lake Oswego and works with Tammy at the company. In her free time, Tammy enjoys traveling and any kind of water recreation, including scuba diving. She’s an enthusiast of garden-to-table cooking and enjoys traveling with her family.

Carrie Reed

Cross Country Mortgage

Going through a divorce can be a very traumatic experience. In most cases, one of the primary hang-ups can be the real estate. Who gets the house? Will it be affordable? How much cash out can we get? Can the spouse vacating the home purchase a new one? How can I pay the mortgage after separation? These are all common divorce and mortgage questions.

It is imperative that you use a company that specializes in this area. I have been assisting clients with divorce and mortgage issues since 2007. I take the time to work with your divorce attorney to make sure your divorce decree will allow you to get the cash you need, refinance the home you want to stay in, or purchase a new home for a fresh start. We don’t wait until the decree is signed to review it – we review the decree before you sign it to make sure it doesn’t need to go back to the judge for changes. This saves you time and money and ensures that your post-divorce goals can be achieved.
