Geri Brownstein, LCSW

Divorce Coach

Geri Brownstein, M.S., LCSW is a psychotherapist, divorce coach, and child/adolescent specialist in a career spanning over 40 years. She did her training at Columbia University, NYC and has worked with families in numerous medical and psychiatry departments, and clinics throughout the country. She maintains a clinical private practice in Lake Oswego helping individual adults and couples with a range of emotional concerns.

She serves on Collaborative Divorce legal teams helping to create customized divorce plans through a peaceful process outside of court.
Geri enjoys long walks and gardening with her husband Carl, cooking, baking, and yoga.

Heather Carey

Heather Cary, M.A.T

DIVORCE COACH

Heather Cary, M.A.T. and Certified Professional Divorce Coach is a coach, mediator and parent education specialist in a career spanning over 20 years. She earned her Master’s of Teaching at Stanford University and enjoys supporting children, parents and families through life’s big challenges, including separation and divorce. In addition to serving as a Collaborative Divorce coach and parent communication specialist, Heather serves as a parent educator with Clackamas County. She maintains a private coaching practice helping individuals make informed and intentional divorce decisions to protect the well-being of all and save money by avoiding unnecessary conflict.

She looks forward to supporting families in the Collaborative Divorce process to create divorce plans that meet their needs through a peaceful alternative dispute resolution process, outside of court. Having been through divorce and come out the other side with three thriving teenage kids, Heather actively practices many of the co-parenting and communication tools she shares with clients and loves helping other parents make the best of a hard situation for the benefit of their kids. Heather enjoys soccer, swimming and most sports. She loves taking the dogs to the park and getting to practice speaking Spanish while traveling.
